Marlee plays piano and rhythm guitar and has a rich, powerful voice. As a vocal arranger for several bands, she has had a lifetime of writing and quickly picking up harmony parts.
“Doing a wonderful job playing both Sadie and Molly is Marlee Walchuk. She has a big, rich voice, showmanship to spare, a good sense of timing and a great sense of humour.”
~Rene Doruyter Vancouver Province
“Marlee Walchuk, where have you been hiding yourself and your amazing voice? Silly or silky, tender or truckin,’ Walchuk lights up the stage at the Starlight Theatre where she’s performing in Four Strong Winds the Folk Musical.”
~Jo Ledingham Vancouver Courier
“If Marlee Walchuk looks familiar, it’s because she was in the Art’s Club’s production of Angry Housewives which took Surrey audiences by a storm a few years ago. This lady is one hot cookie. She can sing, dance, act and she’s such a comedienne, that she has the audience in the palm of her hand. She plays the role of the dumb brunette to the hilt and she’s a mean guitar player as well.”
~The Surrey Leader Newspaper
“The very talented Marlee Walchuk does more with what would seem a simple role as the Countess’s feisty servant than might be expected”.
~John Jane Review Vancouver
